Six injured in two-vehicle crash

All the patients were found to have sustained minor to moderate injuries.

Six people were injured in a collision between two vehicles on Blyvoor Road in the Carletonville area early Saturday morning.

ER24 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found one of the badly damaged vehicles on the road and the other on the grass close by. Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesperson said one patient was found lying on the grass next to the road and the others were found walking around on scene.

“Upon assessment all the patients – all men believed to be in their 30s – were found to have sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were treated and transported to a local hospital and clinic for further medical care.”

The exact cause of the incident is unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
