Make your couch more festive with DIY cushions

Try this lazy DIY and you might end up saving a rand or two!

The family is about to come over for some festive family time and your apartment looks perfect. Or not?

You’ve forgotten to buy scatter cushions to add that extra bit of decor to your living room. What do you do? Nip to the store, and stand in those lovely festive queues with crying children?

No. Relax. You don’t even need to spend money or do a seemingly ‘quick’ DIY project that always ends up being far too inconvenient for anyone’s liking.

Here’s what you do:

• Relax. You’ve got time.

• Get a few pillows from your bedroom and a jersey for each pillow.

• Fold a pillow in half and use string to keep it folded.
