Video games to try out this Festive Season
For gamers: Video games you would not want to miss out on.
You’ve heard of it, you’ve thought about it and now you want it. Yes I’m talking about video games.
New video games bloom this time of year and if they are down your alley, why not add them to your Christmas wishlist. The games mentioned below were either released recently, or will be available throughout December and early January 2017.

XBox One
• Dead Rising 4 — It is the holiday season in Colorado. An outbreak has overrun a local Mall and surrounding town with dangerous predators. Join one of the characters as he faces new zombies and attempts to uncover the truth behind the outbreak – or die trying.
• Tennis in the Face — According to metacritic, “This is no Wimbledon. Tennis in the Face is a hilarious bouncer-game where you save the city from Explodz Inc. with your extraordinary tennis skills. Knock out creepy clowns, evil riot police and other Explodz-addicted maniacs with a tennis ball in the face.”
• Stardew Valley — You’ve inherited your grandpa’s old farm plot in Stardew Valley. Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home?
• Resident Evil 7: biohazard — Fear and isolation seep through the walls of an abandoned farmhouse. Players enter a terrifyingly new world of fear as they fight to survive. (WARNING: Mature 17+. Contains intense violence and strong language)

• Batman: The Telltale Series – Episode 4: Guardian of Gotham — Penguin has taken control of Wayne Enterprises, and the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane has a new guest – you, as Bruce Wayne. With Batman removed from the streets of Gotham City, Harvey Dent’s forces and the Children of Arkham are at war, with innocent citizens caught in the crossfire. How far are you willing to go for justice?
• Just Dance 2017 — Grab your friends and family, because it’s time to dance! The biggest music video game franchise of all time is back, with over 60 million units sold. Just Dance 2017 brings you over 40 new tracks, six game modes, updated content all year long and access to 200+ songs through Just Dance Unlimited!
• WWE2K17 — Are you a fan of wrestling? Then this is for you. WWE 2K17 features stunning graphics, ultra-authentic gameplay and a massive roster of WWE and NXT’s popular Superstars and Legends.
Playstation 4
• The Dwarves — A fantasy role-playing game with a strong story and tactically challenging real-time battles. Fifteen playable heroes, each with individual skills, are to be deployed cleverly. Take on superior numbers of orcs, ogres, älfs, bögnilim, zombies, dark mages, and many more foes, to give them the low-down.
• Industry Giant II — This game let’s you manage a business in America at the dawn of the 20th century. Trade and economy range from the humble beginnings of industrial mass production to the age of information technology. You take over the super-entrepreneur’s role with the goal of establishing a powerful business company.
• The Last Guardian — The player controls a young boy who befriends a giant half-bird, half-mammal creature. The two work together to evade guards that are after them both. The player must manipulate the creature as he would a real animal, such as luring it with food to use it to reach high platforms or other remote places, while evading enemies.
• Watch Dog 2 — The game is played from a third-person perspective and its world is navigated on foot or by vehicle. Players control a hacker who works with a hacking group to take down the city’s advanced surveillance system.
• Gran Turismo Sport — A famous racing video game and thirteenth game overall in the Gran Turismo video game series. GT Sport will include three game modes: “Campaign”, “Sports Mode” and “Arcade Mode”. Both offline and online racing will feature in the game.
• Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare — A first-person shooter. The game introduces a new setting in outer space, new game-play mechanics, such as zero-gravity environments. Players are equipped with a boost pack, and a grappling hook, which allow them to move easily in these zero-gravity environments. As the game is set in space, players can visit different planets, satellites and asteroids in the solar system.
