Police urge church to pray for criminals
'Keep praying for those who destroy the peace and harmony of our law-abiding citizens'
The Randfontein Police were invited to a special church service to be honoured for the work they do in the community.
The Randfontein Police Station Commander, Brigadier Mashole Jacob Manamela and a few of his officers were honoured at the Congregation of the Roman Catholic Church in Mohlakeng.
After being welcomed in song by the church, Nkosinathi Nkabinde from the church spoke to his congregation about the importance of the police and how the community should never forget they are people just like anyone else.
“We need to support their cause to curb criminal activities in out communities,” Nkabinde said.
Manamela also shared a few words with the church and thanked them for their support and urged them to continue being the eyes and ears of the police.
“Keep praying for those who destroy the peace and harmony of our law-abiding citizens, and take care of the elderly. Be your neighbour’s keeper,” Manamela said.
