Four injured in R28 T-bone crash

Four people were injured in a T-bone crash on the R28 during the weekend.

Four people were taken to hospital following an early morning T-bone crash between two light motor vehicles on the R28, on Sunday, 26 March.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at about 2.10am and found both vehicles in the middle of the road. Both vehicles had sustained serious damage.

Russel Meiring, the ER24 spokesperson, said upon closer inspection, paramedics discovered the four occupants of one of the vehicles walking around on the scene. They assessed all of them, and found that they had sustained moderate injuries.

“The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to various hospitals in the area for further treatment,” said Meiring.

Local authorities were on the scene to investigate further.
