Stargazing event coming up
Whole of West Rand invited to an interesting stargazing event to be held in Roodepoort soon.
The whole of the West Rand is invited to an interesting stargazing event to be held in Roodepoort on Saturday, 29 July.
The event will be held at the Kloofendal Amphitheater and runs from 4.30pm on Saturday to 2am on Sunday.
It’s said residents will be able to see the moon, planets, stars and constellations through telescopes that will be manned by the West Rand Astronomy Club.
Residents are requested to dress warmly and bring their binoculars if they have any.
