Horror accident in Carletonville
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are not yet known.
On Sunday morning 10 September, at approximately 5.20am, a head-on collision occurred on Station Road in Carletonville.
Four people were left in a critical condition and four more sustained moderate injuries.
According to ER24 spokesperson, Annine Siddall, paramedics arrived at the scene and found some of the people still trapped inside a Toyota.
“Three people were airlifted to nearby hospitals to receive further medical care and the five remaining patients were transported to hospital by other emergency services on scene,” said Annine.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are not yet known but authorities were on scene for further investigations.
