Update – Horror accident in Carletonville: Two people pass away
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are not yet known.
On Sunday, 10 September, at approximately 5.20am, a head-on collision occurred on Station Road in Carletonville, leaving four people critically injured and four more with moderate injuries.

According to ER24 spokesperson, Annine Siddall, paramedics arrived at the scene and found some of the people still trapped inside a Toyota.
“Three people were airlifted to nearby hospitals to receive further medical care and the five remaining patients were transported to hospital by other emergency services on scene,” said Annine.
Annine has now advised the Herald that two of the victims have since passed away in hospital.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are not yet known but authorities were on scene for further investigations.
