Fitness fanatics sweat it out for a good cause
A mini aerobics marathon was held to raise funds and assist the Itireleng Work Centre for the Disabled in Mohlakeng.
Fitness fanatics around the West Rand recently came together for a mini-aerobics marathon at the Mohlakeng Recreation Centre.
While the event was to celebrate the four-year existence of the Fitness Fun Connection Aerobics Club, it also was aimed at raising funds to assist the Itireleng Work Centre for the Disabled in Mohlakeng with sanitary pads. Individual participants also donated sanitary pads.

“While the event was more focused on fitness, it was also a display of good sportsmanship from all 70 participants who each got a certificate for taking part in the mini-marathon and donated sanitary pads to the disabled. This is a way of giving back to community,” said Tlhogi Seloro, event organiser and aerobics instructor.
“We would like to thank individuals and business people like Chipos, Madinga Security and Workshop Electronics for their donations, which made this event a success”.
