Hit and run tragically ends 25-year-old’s life

In the early hours of Sunday morning, 12 November, 25-year-old Heinrich Cronjé died in a hit-and-run accident while walking home along the N12.
Cronjé’s family reported him missing on Sunday. On that morning, a vehicle knocked him down, and tragically after that, another vehicle drove over him. The driver of the second vehicle stopped and called for help.

His body was taken to the Carletonville mortuary, where he was identified on Monday morning, 13 November. Messages of condolences streamed in on social media after his family and friends were notified.
