The Herald’s DIY Christmas cards

Do-it-yourself Christmas cards with your children in these three simple steps.

There are many things one can do to portray you and your child’s festiveness. One of them is the good ol’ home-made Christmas card, that has the potential to spread the festiveness through the entire family, and this with only three pieces of equipment.

This is a very affordable and easy way, not only to make cards, but also to provide your children with a fun activity to keep them busy.

You will need:

– Various colours of paint (own preference)

– Coloured paper

– One child (own preference)

This project can be undertaken in only three simple steps:

1. Paint your child’s hand or foot as shown below.

This is also a great way for children to learn more about what their hands and feet are able to do and how to be creative with them.
