Things to do on Christmas Day
Don't feel like the usual way of spending Christmas? Read here ...
So it is 24 December, Christmas eve, the day before most families spend time together around the table and Christmas tree, but then someone says, “Let’s do something different”.
So, here are a few things to do other than the usual:
• Go surfing – If you love surfing, and you have your surfboard stored away, why not take it out and enjoy the waves. You do not need to be in your 20s to get back into it, go on and enjoy!
• Lend a hand to the less fortunate people out there – Take them a plate of food, maybe a small gift to open. The smiles on their faces will warm your heart.
• Take a walk – If you are at home or on holiday, why not explore your new surroundings by getting in some fresh air and exercise.
• Go to church – Even if you are not a churchgoer, find out more about the different churches in your area, choose one, and get some food for the soul
• Wildlife spotting – Nothing better than spending a day out, spotting animals and watching birds, if you stay close to a wild life resort or area.
• Find a four-legged friend – There are thousands of abandoned dogs and cats out there. Dish up Christmas dinner to a dog or cat. Take them a bowl of fresh water.
