Biker critically injured in collision with cyclist
Motorcyclist left with critical injuries after collision with cyclist earlier today.
A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries in a collision with a cyclist in Aureus earlier this morning (Tuesday, 6 February).
According to Jackie van Deventer, QRS spokesperson, the accident took place at about 7.10am.

“A QRS ambulance was dispatched to the intersection of Volvo and Fiat. They found that a motorbike had collided with a cyclist after the motorcyclist allegedly swerved out of the way of a taxi.
“The cyclist fortunately sustained only minor injuries but the motorcyclist’s injuries were critical. Both victims were treated on scene with the help of other services before being transported to a nearby hospital for further care and intervention.”
QRS thanks the staff from all the services who assisted on scene.
