One killed in horror head-on crash in Vleikop

One man died and four others were injured in a collision between a bakkie and a car this weekend.

One person was killed and four others injured when a motor vehicle and a bakkie collided head-on on the R559 in Vleikop during the weekend.

Shawn Herbst, Netcare 911 spokesperson confirmed that they received an emergency call on Saturday, 10 November at 1.13am.

“A man was fatally injured in a head-on crash between a motor vehicle and a bakkie. The crew said that four others were injured. One of the victims, who had sustained serious injuries, was transported to a hospital by another private ambulance service,” he said.
