19th prayer rally for Randfontein On Your Knees
Churchgoers danced and clapped their hands during the praise and worship session and bent their knees during the prayers.
There have been eighteen successful prayer rallies in the Randfontein area, and the nineteenth one was no different. The rally took place on Sunday, 18 November at the AGS Middelvlei.
About 150 locals recently came together to pray for the town, the youth and their spiritual well-being during Randfontein On Your Knees’ 19th prayer rally. The rally, which began at 4 pm was the last prayer rally for 2018.
According to Danie Henning, the coordinator of the rally, they discussed “Randfontein under the cross” at the previous three rallies and the 19th rally concluded this theme.
“The message behind the theme is the victory over the enemy, especially the lust of our flesh, which is one of our biggest sins. We want to teach Randfonteiners to be victorious every day of their lives,” he said.
Churchgoers enjoyed the special sermon and danced and clapped their hands during the praise and worship session.
“Christ has overcome the world and died for our sins and therefore we can live a victorious lifestyle,” Danie added.
