The Randfontein Police’s Social Crime Prevention Unit visited the Grade R learners at Avante Primary School on Thursday, 7 March, for a safety and motivational campaign aimed at warning children of bullying, dagga, substance abuse, drugs, illegal gambling, possession of dangerous weapons and theft.

“We interacted with the kids by singing and dancing with them. Our main objective was to motivate learners not to commit these crimes,” said Constable Carmen Hendricks, the Randfontein Police spokesperson.
