Show off your cooking skills at the Rand Show

UPDATE: Turn your home cooking talent into big cash in a live showdown at this year's Rand Show.

The temperature has been raised to a virtual boiling point as time runs out for budding home cooks and chefs to enter the JacarandaFM Clash of Ages – SA’s newest cooking competition with a twist – at this year’s Rand Show!

Kerry Oliver on behalf of the Rand Show said two-person teams with a flair for all things foodie who want to show off their cooking talent can enter this reality-show inspired cooking competition where a feast of R125 000 in cash is up for grabs.

She said if you create magic dishes, then it’s definitely time to get out of the kitchen and down to the South African Garden & Home Pavilion at this year’s show.

Teams made up of a dynamic duo can enter now by submitting their team name, photo, and a short motivation on The Rand Show website as to why they deserve a place at the table.

Hurry up and get your aprons on today because entries close on Sunday, 7 April. You can’t cook up a win if you’re not in the clash!”

This year marks the 125th anniversary of #joburgsbestdayout and promises to be the most delicious show yet.

“We have added a full buffet of on-trend content, ensuring that there is something to delight the appetites of the entire family. A limited number of early-bird tickets are available online with a saving of up to R70 on the ticket price, meaning that for as little as R100 per adult and R50 per child, the whole family can come along. With each adult ticket purchased online you could also win an adrenaline-charged Suzuki Swift, sponsored by Suzuki South Africa.”
