Police create awareness about social crime prevention

Members of the community were warned against common crimes in Randfontein during the campaign.

The Randfontein Police embarked on a social crime prevention awareness campaign at the Tambotie Mall on Monday 1 April, to warn members of the community against crimes in the community. About 200 community members were reached during the campaign.

According to a press release by the police, community members were made aware of crimes such as vehicle theft, sexual offences, gender-based violence, domestic violence, housebreaking, human trafficking, drugs and substance abuse, human trafficking, assaults and robberies.
