Close to 100 people walk 3,5km for Jesus
More than 80 Randfonteiners joined in the Kingdom Nation's national Walk For Jesus campaign held recently.
The year 2019 was the first time ever that Randfontein participated in a Walk for Jesus.
The 3,5km Walk for Jesus through the Randfontein CBD, led by Wiekus de Beer, was held recently and saw more than 80 people pitch up, all dressed in white.

According to Wiekus, they started walking from Hoërskool Jan Viljoen’s sports grounds and made their way through town, passing schools, the police station, businesses, residential areas, the town council as well as the railway. They also prayed along the way.

Wiekus said the campaign wasn’t aligned with any specific church, as their aim is to bring all Christians together. He believes that spiritual events like these will bring the town together.
