The Randfontein Publicity Association (RPA), organisers of the annual Randfontein Show, will, as they do every year, give back to the community they serve this winter.
“We have a heart for charity and every year we buy food and blankets to distribute to the needy,” said Marcelle Mans, the RPA managing director.
She added, “We want to make a difference to those in need and appeal to members of the public to assist us with the 2019 Winter Charity Drive.”
Marcelle said each year, the RPA gives to different registered NGOs, as well as families and individuals (as identified by various members of the community) in the Rand West City municipal area.
“If anyone can assist with blankets (new or previously used) or non-perishable foods, they are welcome to drop them off at the RPA office at the Greenhills Stadium during office hours before 31 May,” Marcelle said.
