Business’ gift of warmth to children

Aranda Textiles recently donated blankets to the sustainable corporate social investment project Clover Mama Afrika.

Aranda Textiles, a manufacturer in Randfontein, once again donated blankets to Clover Mama Afrika, a sustainable corporate social investment project.

The project has been running since 2004. Over the years it has hosted 353 training sessions and has over 2 066 beneficiaries.

To date, Aranda has donated over 4 800 blankets towards Clover Mama Afrika projects countrywide.

“It is well known that one blanket keeps up to four children warm during the cold months.

Thanks to our long-term project partner, Aranda Textiles, we have been able to keep no less than 19 200 children warm.

“We are so grateful that their 2019 donation came before the big cold. It was an absolute pleasure to pack the blankets as well as the beanies our own Clover Call Centre team had made, and distribute them to all our Clover Mama Afrikas,” said Prof Elain Vlok, Corporate Services manager at Clover.
