Get to know a ‘Teiner #120 — Corre Barnard

The 120th person in the Herald’s Get to know a Randfonteiner project introduces himself.

Meet our ‘Teiner’ of the week, Corre Barnard, 49, of Greenhills, a self-proclaimed man of God with optimism and one who simply wants what is best for his family.

Originally hailing from Carletonville, Corre moved to Greenhills in 2005 and has enjoyed it ever since, saying his community is the best one could ever ask for.

A grandfather of two, Coree said after knocking off from work, there is nothing he looks forward to more than seeing his children and his wife, to whom he has been married for 30 years.

Speaking about activities he enjoys, Corre said he is also a motorcyclist and that he does everything with passion for as long as he puts all his energy into it.

“I believe that as people, no matter what race, creed or colour, we should all be one. By standing together, all of us can build a society that we all can benefit from. Simunye (we are one),” Corre added.
