Get to know a ‘Teiner’ #122 – Billy Ramanyai
Randfontein Herald, Tumi Riba, Teiner of the Week, Billy Ramanyai, People of Randfontein,
Meet our ‘Teiner’ of the week, 44-year-old Billy Ramanyai, who is a passionate salesperson.
He said all he wants is to make his town proud.
Billy, who considers himself to be a people’s person, said Randfontein is a town that has a rich history and a good economy.
“I am proud to be from this town because there is so much we can offer, especially in the agricultural sector,” Billy said.
He added that although he spends most of his time at work, he loves being a salesperson as it gives him an opportunity to interact with different people from all walks of life.
“I am also someone who likes spending time reading or going out with friends. I love sales as a job, because it is like having my own business within another business.”
Billy went on to say Randfontein has groomed a lot of stars and the reason he is the person he is today is simply because his roots run deep in the town.
“I just love this place. I believe that it can achieve great heights if we simply empower people,” Billy added.
