Officials at the Randfontein Police awarded 12 of its staff members with certificates of recognition on the evening of Thursday, 25 July for the good work they produced in the 2018/ 19 financial year.
Winners in their respective categories were honoured for their first positions, but those in second and third places were also as runners-up for showing dedication and commitment in the past year.

Brigadier Jacob Mashole Manamela, who was presenting the awards to all the recipients, praised them for continuously promoting the police station.
“This is the day we have been waiting for, just to say ‘thank you’. We cannot all be number ones, but tonight we are all winners.
“We are grateful for your contribution and we look forward to your commitment in ensuring that our town is safe from crime,” Brigadier Manamela said.
