Local beauty returns from the US with five trophies
Maggy Sejamoholo, an eleven-year-old from Homelake bagged five trophies at the 2019 Miss International Princess competition held in the USA.

The eleven-year-old from Homelake said she is proud that she has not only represented her town, but her country at international level.
The five categories she participated and excelled in are Beauty Awards (first runner-up), Photogenic Awards (Best Formal Outfit), Interview Awards (Top Five), Talent Awards (third runner-up) and Model Wards (first runner-up).
Maggy qualified for the competition after she entered the Mr, Miss and Mrs Randfontein 2019 pageant at Bundu Inn, Randfontein on Saturday, 8 June.
“I am very proud of what I’ve achieved,” Maggy said.
Speaking about her trip to New York, Maggy said it was the opportunity of a lifetime.
“It was not only my first time on an aeroplane – the whole experience was a first for me as I saw many iconic sites in America,” Maggy added.
Pretty Sejamoholo, Maggy’s mother, who said she is always determined to support her child’s dreams no matter what, thanked all those who helped to raise the funds for her daughter’s trip.
“I am so happy and feeling overwhelmed with joy to see my child on an international stage. I was sitting there with tears in my eyes, looking at my daughter who was glowing alongside other competitors from around the world,” said Pretty.
