Wheelchairs and strollers donated to WAWA
Seven second-hand wheelchairs and three strollers donated to those in need in Toekies.
A total of seven second-hand wheelchairs and three strollers were donated to Women Against Women and Child Abuse (WAWA) on Tuesday, 6 August.
Enrique Bhana of WAWA welcomed the donation from Elbie Botha, a local magistrate, and said the donations will benefit the elderly and people living with disabilities in the community.
“We thank Elbie for tapping into her resources and making it happen. The equipment will improve the lives of many,” Enrique said.
Enrique urged the community to keep on donating any items that they no longer need,
