One person has been killed and three others injured during an alleged armed robbery at a tavern situated between Randfontein and Westonaria on Friday night (30 August).
Ineke van Huyssteen, ER24 spokesperson said they arrived at the scene shortly after 11pm and found four people had been shot.
A man was found with fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.
“Another patient was found with serious injuries while two others were found with moderate injuries. All the injured were transported to hospital for further medical care.”
She added the exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known, but police were on the scene for further investigations.
