The year is drawing to a close and before we know it, we will be well into the festive season. However, during this time of the year, many fireworks will be used and animals will be fearing for their lives as a result of all the commotion.

For this week’s #WisdomWednesday, we spoke to Wendy Eno, manager of Castaways Animal Sanctuary in Wilbotsdal, about how pet lovers and owners can put their beloved animals at ease during this time.

Among some of the tips she has given, Wendy recommended that pet owners should always opt to stay home, instead of leaving the poor animals on their own.
