JUST IN: Pick n Pay on fire!

'One person was treated for burn wounds while a total of six people were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation' – journalist.

Residents are advised to avoid the area near Pick n Pay Greenhills after it caught fire on Wednesday afternoon (6 November).

According to Herald journalist Tumi Riba, emergency services are currently on scene and workers have been evacuated.

One person was treated for burn wounds while a total of six people were taken to hospital for smoke inhalation,” he said.

Pick n Pay Greenhills told the Herald on scene that they will provide comment at a later stage.
