SA encouraged to support Movember
Calling all men to show their support for Movember.
RE/MAX of Southern Africa has challenged South Africans to grow their mustaches (women are encouraged to grow their leg hair) over the course of November in support of Movember.
“Last year, our network was able to raise over R25 000 for various men’s health organisations, including the Movember Foundation, through this campaign. Our winning office, RE/MAX Panache, was able to raise a staggering R11 130, thanks to the efforts of their sales associates, Joshua Friedman, Martin Pretorius, John Mamet and Gavin Hutchinson. Following close behind them was the team at RE/MAX Dazzle, who were able to collect R7 000 in donations,” said Adrian Goslett, Regional Director and CEO of RE/MAX of Southern Africa.
“This year, we are hoping to achieve similar results by challenging our network to participate in yet another Movember Championship. Thus far, the uptake from our network has been encouraging and we are eager to see how much they will be able to raise towards this worthy cause,” said Adrian.
Adrian encouraged the public to get behind this cause by donating towards the growing efforts of their local RE/MAX real estate professionals this November.
As it is Movember, the Herald met with a local Randfonteiner to find out why his beard is so long, and what he thinks about Movember. Read next week’s edition for the full story.
