Boy, 6, accompanies a special girl to her matric dance

Not only did Elrik Martin have a special sixth birthday, he also had the opportunity to take Randfontein Secondary School learner Regina Kampi, 23, to her matric dance on Monday, 2 September.

His father, Elton Martin, said, “We thought of this cute idea because Regina is a dwarf and most of her peers are much taller than she is. We decided that she should go with someone her size – a six-year-old who is in Grade 1.”
