The Toekomsrus satellite police station is left exposed after its door was allegedly broken and stolen.

The Herald visited the station last Thursday and found no police officers there.

Sergeant Carmen Hendricks, Randfontein Police spokesperson said, “We are aware of the missing door and ensured that all valuables at the station were removed from site immediately. In order to prevent this from happening in future, we will install a security gate at the entrance,” Hendricks said.
