Lenmed hosts open day

Lenmed Randfontein Private Hospital held a pregnancy awareness open day on Valentine’s Day (Friday, 14 February).

According to Ofentse Pharumele, Lenmed spokesperson, the purpose of the event was to raise awareness about breastfeeding, birth registration as well as mental conditions during and after pregnancy.

“There was a bigger turnout than we expected, which wasn’t a bad thing at all.”

She added it was a great way for expecting parents to learn about the hospital and what they offer.
