EPR’s latest crime report: Sheep theft, dog poisoning and more

EPR Security reports on many incidents of crime around town over the past weekend, including domestic violence and livestock theft.

EPR Security released its crime report for the weekend from Friday, 8 May to Sunday, 10 May.

According to Johan Krogh, General Manager of EPR West Rand, about eight serious incidents were reported across Rand West City during this period.

He said in Middelvlei there were three incidents – that of damage to property, sheep theft and a dog poisoning. In Homelake, two incidents were reported – that of housebreaking and domestic violence. In Waterpan, there was one incident of theft.

A Golf GTI was stolen from a parking area in Randgate, and there was one incident of damage to property in Witfontein.

We are noticing an increase in crime, including livestock theft in agricultural and rural areas around town. We urge our customers to stay vigilant,” he said.
