Upon arrival at the scene, police noticed four suspects on top of the roof of the supermarket. When the suspects began shooting at the police, the members returned fire and a shootout ensued.”

The suspects that were taken into custody are believed to be between the ages of 40 and 43 while two of their accomplices are still on the loose after escaping the scene.

“No injuries were reported during the robbery or during the shootout. A case of business robbery, attempted murder and possession of unlicensed firearm has been opened for investigation” continued Captain Masondo.
