Young blood to lead the way for RPA

Outgoing chairman Roy Harris announced it was time for younger blood to lead the way.

The Randfontein Publicity Association’s (RPA) new Board of Directors was announced at a meeting on Monday, 9 November.

Justin Pontus was elected as chairman, with Craig Harrison and Lou Brits as the two vice-chairs.

Outgoing chairman Roy Harris, who played an important role in the Randfontein Show for many years, announced it was time for younger blood to lead the way.

The RPA made an announcement in October that the 2021 Randfontein Show would not be taking place as a result of Covid-19 regulations, but that the RPA will be hosting a number of smaller functions throughout 2021.

The new Board of Directors will be actively involved in the events, details of which will be announced early next year.
