Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) has informed residents of Wheatlands, Loumarina, Oosterplots, Bootha plots, Wilbotsdal and Elandsvlei of a power supply interruption scheduled from 08:00 to 16:00 on Wednesday October 6.
RWCLM spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa said the electricity will be disconnected in these areas to test and reconnect the 10MVA transformer at Dowell substation, which was damaged by lightning last year.
