Covid-19 vax and other comorbidities testing: Where and when to go in Rand West City

The Gauteng Health Department will continue providing pop-up sites for health screening until November 27.

The West Rand District Health Department has extended an invitation to the community to get free Covid-19 tests done at their sites this week.

The department’s communications officer, Nomagugu Hloma said in addition to the coronavirus tests, HIV, TB and blood pressure tests will also be done for free this week from Monday, November 22 to Saturday, November 27.

The sites are operational from 09:00 until 15:00.

Testing will be done at the following sites:

• Corner of Magalefa and Ngonyela Streets in Mohlakeng (Ward 13)

• Itireleng, Mohlakeng (Ward 13)

• Zenzele Sports Ground (Ward 15)

• Aranda Textiles (Ward 4)

• Diamond Park (Ward 20)

• Denny Mushroom (Ward 1)

• Randfontein Taxi Rank (Ward 6)

• Bekkersdal X Section (Ward 32)

• Thusanang Msiwawa (Ward 30)

• Thusanang Papalala and Farms (Ward 30)

• Glenharvie Ethembeni (Ward 23)

• Glenharvie Ext 2(Ward 23)

• Venterpost Library (Ward 25)

• Westonaria Pick n Pay Shopping Centre (Ward 24)

Vaccinations will be done at the following sites:

• Tuesday, November 23 at Zenzele Sports Ground and Thusanang Papalala and Farms

• Wednesday, November 24 at Glenharvie Ethembeni and Aranda Textiles

• Thursday, November 25 at Diamond Park and Glenharvie Ext 2

• Friday, November 26 at Venterpost Library and Denny Mushroom

• Saturday, November 27 at Randfontein Taxi Rank and Westonaria Pick n Pay Shopping Centre
