From testing for Covid-19 to getting vaccinated and more in Rand West City
The Gauteng Health Department will continue providing pop-up sites for health screening until December 4. Here is where they will be in Rand West City.
The West Rand District Health Department extended an invitation to the community to get free Covid-19 tests done at their sites this week.
The department’s communications officer, Nomagugu Hloma said in addition to the coronavirus tests, HIV, TB and blood pressure tests will also be done for free this week until Saturday, December 4.
The sites are operational from 09:00 until 15:00.
Testing will be done at the following sites:
• Mohlakeng Methodist Church (Ward 22)
• Kosporong (Ward 2)
• Toekomsrus second stop (Ward 8)
• Aranda Textiles (Ward 6)
• Baipei informal settlement (Ward 3)
• Badirile sports ground (Ward1)
• Westonaria Pick n Pay shopping centre (Ward 24)
• Zuurbekom Taxi Rank (Ward 17)
• Westonaria Taxi Rank (Ward 24)
• Waterpan Drive Through (Ward 26)
• Borwa Taxi Rank (Ward 26)
• Bekkersdal Tambo (Ward 3)
• Bekkersdal Spook Town (Ward 31)
Vaccinations will be done at the following sites:
• Wednesday, December 1 at Greenhills Stadium, Aranda Textiles, Westonaria Taxi Rank and Borwa Taxi Rank
• Thursday, December 2 at Greenhills Stadium, Aranda Textiles, Westonaria Taxi Rank and Borwa Taxi Rank
• Saturday, December 4 at Greenhills Stadium, Bekkersdal Spook Town, Bekkersdal Tambo, Westonaria Pick n Pay, Badirile door to door, and Zenzele door to door
