The Rand West City Libraries held a Festive Season Literacy programme at the Zenzele Early Childhood Development centre on Friday December 3.
Rand West City Libraries spokesperson and Programmes Librarian Thandeka Legae said the purpose of the programme was to instil a love of reading and reinforce the culture of using libraries among children.
We’ve also taught the children many others ways of learning. These were storytelling, face-painting, singing and dancing, and other physical activities,” Thandeka added.
