Tambotie Mall, Westonaria Pick n Pay – Take your pick where to get tested and vaccinated in town

The Gauteng Health Department will continue providing pop-up sites for health screening across Rand West City until December 18.

The West Rand District Health Department is once again inviting the community to get free Covid-19 tests done at their sites this week.

The department’s communications officer, Nomagugu Hloma said in addition to the coronavirus tests, HIV, TB and blood pressure tests will be done for free this week from Monday, December 13 to Saturday, December 18.

The sites are operational from 09:00 to 15:00.

Testing will be done at the following sites:

• Randfontein Village Mall (Ward 5)
• Tambotie Mall (Ward 09)
• Mphakathi Mall (Ward 13)
• Bhongweni (Ward 5)
• Randfontein High School (Ward 6)
• Glenharvie (Ward 23)
• Zuurbekom (Ward 17)
• Borwa Phase 2 (Ward 26)
• Siyahlalala informal settlement (Ward 01)
• Bekkersdal Outline (Ward 35)
• Westonaria Pick n Pay (Ward 06)
• Randfontein Station Mall (Ward 06)

Vaccinations are being done at the following sites:

• Tuesday, December 14 at Randfontein High School (RHS), Glenharvie, Randfontein Village Mall, Tambotie Mall and Randfontein Station Mall
• Wednesday, December 15 at Zuurbekom, Randfontein Village Mall, Tambotie Mall and Randfontein Station Mall
• Thursday, December 16 at Westonaria Pick n Pay, Randfontein Station Mall and Randfontein Village Mall
• Friday, December 17 at Borwa Phase 2, Randfontein Village Mall, Tambotie Mall and Randfontein Station Mall
• Saturday, December 18 at Siyahlalala informal settlement, Bekkersdal Outline, Randfontein Village Mall and Randfontein Station Mall
