Three people were injured including a 4-year-old child after a two-vehicle collision in Westonaria on Christmas Eve.

Three people were injured including a child when two vehicles collided on the N12 in Westonaria on Christmas Eve, December 24.

ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said their paramedics arrived at 03:54 to find one vehicle overturned in the middle of the road.

The second was found on the side of the road against a street sign.

Medics assessed the patients and found that two adults and a 4-year-old boy had sustained moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found. The patients were treated and transported to nearby hospitals for further care.”

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
