The West Rand District Health Department is once again inviting the community to get free Covid-19 tests done at their sites this week.

The department’s communications officer, Nomagugu Hloma said in addition to the coronavirus tests, HIV, TB and blood pressure tests will be done for free this week until Saturday, January 15.

The sites are operational from 09:00 to 15:00.

Testing will be done at the following sites:

• Randfontein Station Mall (Ward 06)

• Westonaria Pick n Pay( Ward 06)

• Foursquare Taxi Rank (Ward 21)

• Mohlakeng Ponase (Ward 22)

• Mohlakeng Usave (Ward 13)

• Baipei (Ward 3)

• Rooftop Mohlakeng Ext 4 (Ward 15)

• Simunye Ext 5 Carwash (Ward 27)

• Simunye Ext 1 Taxi Rank (Ward 27)

• Simunye Ext 4 next to Kamogelo Primary (Ward 28)

• Simunye Ext 2 next to graveyard (Ward 28)

• Westonaria Taxi Rank (Ward 24)

• Bekkersdal Taxi Rank (Ward 31)

Vaccinations will be done at the following sites:

• Monday, January 10 at Randfontein Station Mall, Simunye Ext 5 Carwash and Foursquare Taxi Rank

• Tuesday, January 11 at Randfontein Station Mall, Mohlakeng Ponase and Simunye Ext 1 Taxi Rank

• Wednesday, January 12 at Randfontein Station Mall, Mohlakeng Usave and Simunye Ext 4 next to Kamogelo Primary

• Thursday, January 13 at Randfontein Station Mall, Mohlakeng Usave and Simunye Ext 2 next to graveyard
