Police have confirmed that they are investigating a case of business robbery following an incident at Umphakathi Mall on January 15.

According to national police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, it was reported that six armed men entered a store at the shopping centre. The men allegedly robbed the store of several cellphones as well as an undisclosed amount of cash before fleeing the scene.

Nevhuhulwi confirmed that no arrests have been made at this stage and that investigations are ongoing.
