LETTER: Water leak in Greenhills for two months!

We have had a freshwater leak in Steenbok Street, Greenhills for nearly two months now.

Thousands of liters of drinkable water go to waste. The tar road has now started to break up due to the constant flow of water.

Reported it countless times to the municipal manager with empty promises of getting it fixed. To make matters worse there is a blocked drain right next to it, now the sewage water gets in contact with fresh water.

They fixed it weeks ago only for it to start overflowing again on August 23.

This is unacceptable and a health hazard.
