RWCLM welcomes St Petersburg legislature
A meeting took place between the Rand West local Municipality and the St Petersburg legislative arm.
Executive Mayor of the Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM), Councillor William Matsheke, welcomed the legislative arm of St Petersburg to the City.
In a recent statement released by the RWCLM’s media liaison officer, Desmond Pitso, the mayor met with St Petersburg’s legislative arm on November 11.
Pitso explained, “This visit marks a significant moment in fostering co-operative governance between our two cities, paving the way for potential collaborations in economic development and agricultural cooperation.
“I look forward to discussing shared interests and strategies that can enhance Rand West City’s and St Petersburg’s prosperity. During my absence, I would like to acknowledge the vital roles that the Deputy Executive Mayor and the Council Speaker will play in facilitating discussions and ensuring a fruitful exchange of ideas,” Matsheke added.
Pitso continued that the partnership will lead to mutual benefits and shared success for both communities.
