Little learners saddle up for a special police visit

The youngsters received a taste of police work, with a few four-legged friends stealing the spotlight.

Little ones at Tippie Toes Daycare experienced an exciting and educational demonstration when Westonaria SAPS officers visited with their horses on Friday, October 30.

The visit gave the children an opportunity to meet the police officers, learn more about their important role in the community and interact with the horses.

The officers also spoke to the youngsters about safety, sharing important lessons in a fun and engaging way.

Hands-on safety lessons

For many of the children, the highlight was getting up close to the horses. They had the opportunity to pet the animals and even sit on them for photographs, creating special memories of the visit.

Denise Pieters from Tippie Toes Daycare said the event went very well and that the children thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
