Power outage: A little light at the end of the tunnel

Ward councillor Alwyn van Tonder has provided an update regarding the current power outage stating that a team is in the process of repairing a transformer.

Van Tonder explained there is a team at the Drowel Substation currently servicing the transformer. He added another team is busy repairing cable work at the Market Substation.

“We will continue to share updates as the work progresses,” Van Tonder said.
