Water restrictions continue

The Rand West City Local Municipality has informed residents that the level two water restrictions will remain in place.

According to municipal spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa, this is due to low water levels in the reservoir. Even though the water levels are gradually recovering, Montshiwa urged all residents to use water sparingly to ensure a sustainable water supply.

“Your co-operation is greatly appreciated as we work towards a full recovery. Further updates will be provided as necessary,” he concluded.
