Brace for a planned power outage this weekend
This weekend's planned power outage in Rand West City will last at least 10 hours.
Randfontein residents should brace themselves for a power outage this Saturday, March 29.

According to Rand West City Local Municipality (RWCLM) spokesperson Phillip Montshiwa, the planned power outage will occur between 08:00 and 18:00.
He added this is necessary due to an overhead feeder line that needs to be repaired by Eskom.
“Mohlakeng, Westergloor and Drowel substations will be affected as a result. Residents are reminded to treat all electrical installations as live during the outage period.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your co-operation during the essential maintenance work.”
